A little bit of science from our Head of Extractions, with Shatter popping back up on the market, we decided to let you know a little about the science behind this concentrate! After raw plant matter is blasted, shatter is poured onto a large baking sheet within a vacuum oven and placed at a temperature of 95 degrees, and the temperature is decreased 1 degree every 30 minutes until it reaches 85 degrees. At that point, a slight vacuum is pulled to create the bubbles that shatter is known for and then the vacuum is stopped and reinitiated shortly after for 12 hours. Now you know the science of shatter!
